26th Annual Convention

RegisterBook Hotel

Join us at a Friday night baseball game!

So much of the Friends Annual Convention takes place together, at the hotel: workshops, mealtimes together, greeting new Friends during chance encounters around the hotel, and hanging out late night in the hospitality suites. Friday night is your chance to go out “on your own.” But who wants to be on their own when you can hang out with your new friends?! Join a group from Friends at a baseball game!

We are going to see the independent minor league team Rosemont Dogs on Friday, July 14th at 6:30pm! And the Dogs ballpark, Impact Field, is only a half mile from the convention hotel! Many of us will choose to walk to the ballpark together, but you are also welcome to make your own travel arrangements (e.g., Uber, Lyft or taxi) and meet us there.

Tickets are $16 each and come with a free Dogs baseball cap. There is also a ticket option with food, for an additional $7.75, and you will receive a voucher for a hot dog, chips and a soda.

For more information, or to reserve tickets, please contact the longtime Friends Baseball Liaison, Jeff Shames, at jeff.shames@gmail.com. Jeff needs to notify the Dogs Ticket Rep how many tickets will be needed. Please reach out to Jeff by Wednesday, June 14 if you would like to attend the game!
