Whether you’ve been with Friends for many years or you’re new to Friends, whether you stutter, know someone who stutters, or are curious to learn about stuttering and how it can impact a person’s life, we hope you will read on below and kindly consider gifting a donation this holiday season to Friends.

Friends is a 501(c)(3) non-profit support organization created to provide a network of love and support for children and teenagers who stutter, their families, and the professionals who work with them. Our vision is to help build a world in which all young people who stutter feel empowered to communicate whenever, wherever, and however they want to.

Research has shown that kids and teens who have attended a Friends Convention, have significantly less adverse reactions to speaking and stuttering has significantly less negative impact on their lives. Our programs provide young people with the skills they need to advocate for themselves, become empowered, and learn to live well with their stuttering.

Over the past 25 years, we have reached thousands of children who stutter and their families thanks to our generous volunteers and donors. Friends has provided support by hosting hundreds of local one-day conferences, creating weekly virtual programming reaching over 1300 kids, teens, and adults who stutter, parents, and SLPs since 2020, and through our mentoring program that connects kids with teens who stutter.

Would you join us in reaching thousands of young people who are still feeling isolated and alone? Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $5,000. Any amount you are able to give impacts the lives of young people who stutter. Please help us by sharing this on your page, even if you cannot personally donate. We are forever grateful.

Thank you for your support
