Research Study for Children, Parents, and SLPs

Parent Survey Project

Can the listener impact stuttering?

We are looking for adults who stutter to participate in a study on how social factors—like who you’re talking to— can influence stuttering variability.

You qualify if:

• You are a person who stutters
• You are between 18-60 years old
• You primarily speak English
• You have no other speech, language, or neurological disorders besides stuttering

What will you do?

You’ll talk to three different people and share your perceptions of them.

The study is one hour and will take place in our lab at 665 Broadway, 6th floor, New York, NY 10012. As a thank-you for your time, you’ll receive a $50 Amazon gift card.
