A Summary of the January Virtual Adult Group

“Eight individuals with shared experiences of stuttering came together in a supportive space to explore self-acceptance. We openly discussed the insidious shame often instilled around stuttering, from subtle societal messages often starting at a very early age. Small steps, like voluntary stuttering, allowing yourself to be vulnerable with a co-worker, and talking a bit more in-depth about stuttering with a friend, are all actions we can take to feel empowered.”
