A Summary of the January Virtual Parent Group

“The Support Group for Parents of children who stutter kicked off well in the new year. We had a dozen parents willing to show up and share their experiences. The support group began off with a moment of silence to honor the passing of our leader Lee Caggiano. Her mission carried on this morning. The topic of FEAR was discussed – from being a parent of a 4 year old to a parent of a teenager. Other topics included the importance of advocating for ourselves and our children, loving our children exactly how they are, and staying connected to other parents. We had new parents and those who have attended previously. A parent ended the group by sharing ‘Always lead with love.’
